What We Collect

The enquiry form on this site collects your name, email address, mobile number, the type of matter and the description you provide. Nothing else is collected through the form, and the site does not use advertising or profiling cookies.

Why We Collect It

The information is used solely to assess your enquiry, to reply to you and, where you instruct the firm, to conduct your matter. It is not sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes.

Who Sees It

Enquiries are received by the advocate and the legal consultants assigned to the file. Where a matter is declined or not pursued, the material is retained only as long as required and then deleted.

Confidentiality And Privilege

We maintain the utmost level of discretion and privacy when it comes to client matters. Note that sending an enquiry does not by itself create a lawyer–client relationship, which arises when an engagement letter is signed.

Retention

Client files are retained for the period required by UAE law and by professional obligations, after which they are securely destroyed.

Your Rights

You may ask what information the firm holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where no legal or professional obligation requires it to be kept. Write to info@htlawyers.ae.
